Help ADB Driver problem flashing to Generic HTC ROM

stoosh

Newbie
I'm trying to make a Gold Card so I can eventually flash the HTC Desire T Mobile UK Rom to a generic HTC ROM, so I can update the Desire firmware.

I've downloaded Android SDK and followed all the steps, however SDK doesn't recognise my phone connected to the computer, on the command line it says List of devices attached, and no serial number, its blank.

I've used usbdeview to clear all the HTC drivers and start again, however everytime the computer's installing the ADB driver, it fails to do so.

Machine wise, I've used both a Windows XP and Windows 7 (32bit) and keep getting the same results. Going into control panel and updating the driver by pointing it to the AndroidSDK\usb_driver folder doesn't seem to help either.

Please can someone point me in the right direction, I really need to get rid of the T Mobile ROM!

Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions.

Thanks Mate will download from the link and give it a go!

**Update** The drivers installed and the ADB problem disappeared! Gold Card created and I successfully flashed the T Mobile ROM to the generic HTC ROM.

I really appreciate your help Mate! Thanks!!!
