Root adb to usb not working

'adb devices' shows no devices today where it did yesterday.
No changes made to Bionic or PC that I know of.
'lsusb' shows no Motorola device.
'Android debugging' checked in 'Developer options' so is 'USB debugging notify'.
Information bar no longer shows usb connecting when plugging usb cable to PC.
Tried different usb slots to no avail.
Have only one usb cable.

Mod is CM10.1.0-targa.

Where do I start to solve this problem?

Are you using windows. If so go to device manager and see if your bionic is listed and if it has a yellow ! Mark next to it.

I am just learning to use Ubuntu so i am not sure how to delete the drivers but I would delete the drivers reboot your PC, plug your bionic in let the drivers reinstall ,reboot and try again.

I'd try restarting the computer, if you haven't done that already. Perhaps the adb session that ran previously didn't end properly and is blocking new attempts to connect.
