once installed, this app allows you to change the lock slider to various other options, lets you add widgets from other apps to the lock screen and also lets you add other shortcuts.

there are lots of options in the settings menu as well. You can use other buttons to wake the phone for example.

It cost $0.99, and works well so far on my Desire.

Cool app, although I still use sense and cant add sense widgets to it (assume theres nothing that can be done about this unless htc release their widgets which isnt likely). Had a little play around with it and seems cool, uninstalled for now though just as I like the sense widgets.
 
I still use sense as well, I have got my sense widgets on other screens,

but now have mini info widget, folder options widget, and a mixzing widget as well as extended control widgets for airplane mode and APN on my lock screen.
 
Thanks, I like this app, and there's no lag, well worth the price.

Although, I'm only going to use widgets as I don't want to accidentally open a program, like Handcent or the Internet before I unlock the phone.

Found a bit of lag when locking and then pressing the power button, it shows the Sense lockscreen for a split second before changing to the WidgetLocker screen.
 
Looks really good, especially as you can wake the phone using any button. Saves me havin to root to get that.
 
been using it now for just over a day and so fars its great.

I have added the last.fm widget to the lockscreen as well :0)

It has only lagged once where i was able to see the standard
lock screen for about a tenth of a second.

it seems stable and hasnt caused any issues.
