Help Adding a language pack to keyboard

Hi all,

I installed the GingerBread 2.3 keyboard from the market. it improved by a lot my battery.

Now, i'm texting quite a lot and the stock dictionary is english but i use a lot of french also and this is really annoying as it's correcting all my words to english.

How can i install a second language package as it's supposed to be implemented within Gingerbread?

PS: i still have the stock phone, not rooted.

in the Gingerbread Keboard settings under Imput language. once you select what language you want it will direct you to download the language pack.

then on the space bar just swipe to which languages
