im tring to add my work email as well but how would i do that. i tried corporate account but that didnt work, any ideas

Some details would help. What type of email account is this? IIRC, corporate is only for Exchange accounts. Not all companies use Exchange.
Though your profile indicates that you're on a Droid X. I am not entirely clear on what the differences are between the Droid and Droid X. You might want to try the Droid X forum:

yea i still have the moto droid which is my wifes phone i have the x. i told her that as well shes not sure what email it is b/c on her blackberry she didnt need to know which one it was idky .
