Help adding files to sd card

I'm trying to figure out how to get some comics onto the sd card without removing it since I don't know where my adapter is.
How can I add or make a folder that will end up on the sd card?. When I view the phone through usb it just shows a bunch of folders but I don't know which are on the sd card or not.

That's your sd card. just make a file right there. Are you trying to view these on your phone, or just store them?

Thanks, made a file called comics in there and loaded it up.It is indeed saved on my sd card.
