Help adding hotmail account

On my Droid X I can add my hotmail account just fine but it starts importing all of my emails saying they're all new. What tha French Toast!!! It acts like as if because all of the emails are new to it then it thinks they're new and labels them new...so if i have 100 emails that are in my hotmail acct ...none of which are new...i get 100 notifications on my phone as it imports the emails in saying "new" email....anyone else had this issue?

I gave up on using separate applications for my Hotmail e-mail and my Live address e-mail. I just went into my Hotmail settings for both accounts and set it up to forward all of my mail to my gmail account. Now I just check my gmail on my computer/phone to read all of it in one place. Done and done.
