Help Adding Notifications

Having trouble getting the system to see the notification sound I added.
I am rooted and using Root Explorer.
I d/l a notification, unzipped it and using root exp, I copied it to system/media/audio/notifications
I also added it to sdcard/notifications
In root exp the file is there and in .ogg format just like every other notification
If I go out to settings>device>sound>default notification, it is not there to select

Any thoughts?

After adding a sound to /system the device needs to be rebooted. Also, you do not have to use the ogg format, mp3 works fine.

Wow... after rooting, flashing and recovering multiple times you'd think I would have thought about rebooting some time. Always the simplest fixes. Thank you
