not sure how or why but now on my htc hd after i have ended a call i get a addvert come up on the screen( just on the bottom fro about 5secs) how do i stop this from happening
 
I've heard that some apps using admob do this, my friend installed a camera app that did the same thing. Which apps have you installed recently?
 
If it is one of the apps the easiest way is to uninstall it. Have you updated any apps recently, that could be the cause as well.
 
Just checked the market listing for talking caller id and the reviews mention ads after calls, so I think we've found the culprit.
Your options are to uninstall the app altogether, or to pay for the ad free version. Hope that helps!
