Help Admire bricked???

To throw it out there I'm a Noob at this. So here is what I got.
One admire that will turn on but not get past logo screen. The computer will see it. Sorta.
It will go in to boot mode but the computer will not see it. It will try to use the SD card to update from but I dont know what to load on the SD card to have it load.
This is more like a test for me to see how and if I can root a phone. Really I want to see if o can unbrick it first then go from there. Any advice is helpfull. Thanks
 
Hey how is it going . welcome to the forum. First let's power off the device if its still on . also who is your carrier
 
Now your in a boot loop this is where and why you are just seeing this so your kind of bricked do you have the phone drivers installed and this fix you are about to perform will unroot and put stock software on your device.
 
Carrier is metro PCS. It's not on it right now. But that is the carrier it is going to be used for and the same it was from. As for drivers I have the usb drivers installed. Tried different ports and cords. Still won't connect in boot mode.
 
Side note. Thanks for the help. I'm at work and won't be able to dick with it for another 12 hours. Yes I would like to get it back to stock and leave it stock ( long story. But if you come to Vegas I'll make sure your taken care of).
 
No. Not really. Don't know if I can flash it with Odin when I can't get it to connect in download mode. If I can get that then I'm golden.
 
You can put it in download mode and just plug up with USB cable in download mode and let the computer do the thing . remove the battery hold the button combo put battery in. Keep doing til you see download mode .
 
Been there. But the computer does not see it once in download mode. When just plugged in it see it and knows it's there but will not let you get in to anything on the phone.
 
Hey we both I the same boat auto tech at a dealer and firefighter. Now what do u need do u have the firmware and directions on how to put phone into download mode and hard reseting
 
Yes. I have put it in to download mode but the computer will not even see it. Like it doesn't even see it has anything connected via USB.
 
Try this I think a hard reset is needed

** Hard Reset from Recovery

- Power off your phone either by pressing and hold the*power key*then select power off or pulling the battery out and putting it back in.

- While the device is off press and hold theVolume up+Power*key's.

- This will bring you to Android recovery screen. Use*Volume Down*key to highlight "wipe data/factory reset" press*home key*to select.

- Then press*Volume Up*to confirm. Your device will now hard reset.

- Press*Home*key again to reboot phone to the home screen.
 
Tried. It's missing data for the boot. If I can find a update to throw on the SD card I think that will work. Even a old update just to get the phone working again. Then I can get the new updates once I get the phone working

and down load the ff18 upgrade tool and follow instructions you should get the phone to work. If your computer doesn't see the phone when you put it in download mode, then the most common problems are the cable needs replacing or uninstall the drivers and reboot and reinstall the drivers, reboot and try again.

If your admire shows a glimmer of life this usally works.
