Root admire roms

i have a samsung admire it is through carolina west wireless. i have clockwork mod installed im looking for a rom that will work for this carrier. thanks in advance

You could try to manually change all apn related settings to your carrier.If you have data that's good enough even if mms isn't working. But this is just guessing. You might not be able to or you would have to ask a dev
 
how do i do that ive tried apn backup and restore and apn manager. i can acess the play store youtube but no browser will work
 
i can access the play store and download anything but my browser wont load and i can get mms and send them but the net browser wont work

Well there's actually a setting under the hidden menu under browser that will make your browser work

the easy way is to add a shortcut to your home screen ( press and hold the screen in an empty area), and under select shortcut choose activities. Then scroll down to com.android.hiddenmenu, touch it and scroll down a little until you see browser settings and choose that and then ok. Now when you choose it on the home screen you should see proxy settings. if you change it to match your service provider you should get your browser to work

ok ive been messing around and still no browser. but i dont care about that any more. how can i get CWM 5.0.2.8 on my admire i have CWM 5.0.2.7 on it thanks in advance
 
its a stock carolina west wireless one when i load monster 5.3 i think it loads fine but when i restore my backup that i made on CWM 5.0.2.8 it goes to a sliver small android and wont go any futher

Did you make the backup with 5.0.2.8 or 5.0.2.7? What filesystem is the backup, when you look in the backup folder does it say system.rfs, data.rfs, etc.?
