Root Admire won't turn on

Let me jump straight to it. I am new, as my actions will soon reveal I'm sure, to tinkering with phones. I rooted my Samsung Admire, which was pretty cut and and dry. I even removed the bogus apps from metroPCS and the phone was doing great.

THEN, I felt ambitious. I installed CWM. I was going to put a MOD on my phone! I was looking at the one that had more of an iPhone feel to it. It seemed more complicated, but I "thought" I followed directions pretty good.

When I opened CWM, the first thing you can press (something like recovery?) I pressed it and a list of phones appeared. The Admire was not listed. I just ignored the list and tried to continue on, but everything made it seem like I needed to do the first item. You know, the one that loads the list of phones but did not have a selection for Admire. I just picked one (thinking I was not going to keep the "new look" of the phone I selected, so any will do). Well, I selected Huawei SomethingOrAnother 2. I don't recall exactly, as I was not trying to keep it for long.

Well, my phone turned off and now it does nothing. The screen does not turn on to anything. No Samsung screen. No boot menu. No hello, hello, hello. Nothing.

Am I up the creek without a paddle?

you didnt use clock work mod you used rom manager.. and im pretty sure you bricked your device. sorry bud. the reason for this is rom manager isnt compatible with our device and you flashed recovery for another device.. if i was you i would take it to metro and say something like it was plugged in to the computer all night and wouldnt turn on. and hope the salesperson is dumb haha. sorry
