Looking around for a possible new phone with VM. My LG G Stylo has been flickering oddly lately. Found that this is a hardware issue, so here I am.
How does adoptable storage with this phone stack up? I've noticed issues with this among phones with low internal storage that run on Marshmallow. The Moto G is on a short list of phones I may possibly move into. I've never had a phone exhibit problems so early, at least not since I got my first Android, a Samsung Intercept. I barely got any money back for that one back in 2011... the original seller never responded to my claims, so I sold it to a recycler.
I bought my Stylo four months ago. Gave away a phone that worked much better than the Stylo (LG Tribute)... UGH.
Another thing: I've read that the phone is rugged enough to go without a case. Is this true? That would be great for pocket friendly use. I already have a hard time stuffing my Stylo onto a pocket (and that's with the smallest outer case I could find for it). I'm guessing it's still a good idea to use a screen protector, though. Those things have saved my screens. Never lost or cracked one from a drop, even with the cheap protectors.
For now, it's between this, and the Alcatel OneTouch Elevate. I'm not interested in a phone comparison; I know enough about which is the more superior phone. I'm also looking at the price, as both are on sale at Best Buy currently. The Moto G is @ $99.99, Elevate @ $19.99.
Thanks for any responses.
