Root advanced radio guide

i thot there might be a demand for having a guide to flashing seperate radios, since mr2 and mr2.5 havent been added to the "obligatory radio thread". also, some of you may want to run different cdma/lte combos, for whatever reasons.

i just took what gu1dry has instructed in his OP([RADIO] HTC Thunderbolt Radios [PG05IMG.zip] (Updated: 16 June 2011) - xda-developers) and took it a step further to flash the second. obviuosly this is not the only way to skin the cat,one could just toggle usb storage and change PG05IMG files that way.

if you want to check it out: http://androidforums.com/thunderbol...91-how-some-root-terminology.html#post2909423

id love to figure out a way to do it without rebooting between the radio flashes,if anyone has any advice id love to hear it. in hboot after the flash there is only option to reboot. no devices listed in fastboot devices or adb devices. id personally rather reboot than pull the battery and put the sd card in a reader to change the file. but if youve got a trick means to get from hboot to recovery or fastboot, post it up. :)

im also planning a guide to download, unzip, and repack for those that want to use radios from this page and flash them together, once(my preference,actually... im not fond of the 2 flash thing) but if youd rather flash twice than repack, use this :)

I have a quick question. The file in this tutorial, does it include the radio or do I need to find the MR1 radio and flash that separately?

Thanks :)

it is included.... make sure you follow the directions of the big,red letters. flash the non-engineering bootloader last.

also, this will take you back to unrooted stock.so if thats not what youre after, dont flash it. ;)
