Help Advanced Task Killer saying I have more memory then phone specs

When I use Advanced Task Killer it will generally tell me I have xxxM available. The number it gives me is usually between 230 and 310. This confuses me as the phone specs say the phone only has 160M. Is it using internal memory or the SD Card to extend RAM?

Task killers are bad for android, read this post to understand why. My recommendation would be to get rid of ATK.

Okay, ATK removed. However my question remains, why was it showing more memory then the phone actually has according to specs?

it's talking about ram not internal storage.

Roughly 400MB.
