Advanced Task Killer showing unopened tasks/applications

Ok, so everytime I open Advanced Task Killer it tells me that ATT Navigation and some other applications are open...even if I just closed them through ATC. Usually, the programs it shows as 'open' or 'running' are programs I have never used.

Anyone know if they are running? Are they taking my data/using my 2gb? Thanks.
 
You'll hear it a bunch, ATK is only for 2.1 and under. FroYo is optimized to kill it's own tasks after they aren't used.

I'd delete ATK and just let FroYo do its thing. And it opens based off what other application is opened: ie, a location based app may open the ATT Nav to locate your position.

If it uses data, I don't know that. I'd assume it does, but probably not that much

One more question, does the phone prioritize wifi over 3g/4g when in range/connected?
