Help Advanced Task Killer

I downloaded ATK out of curiousity, mostly to quickly see which apps are currently running. The first thing I noticed were apps that I had never launched were running (FM radio, voice dial, etc..) Is this normal?

2nd, I have read a lot of controversy about using a task killer. I have left the task killer alone all day, and noticed some apps never closed (browser was opened in the AM, and its still stored in mem) I know android automatically takes care of processes and tasks. Does ATK interfere with the way android manages tasks and such if I just leave it running? The settings are default in ATK.

Yes those services running is normal.

Unless you tell it to automatically kill tasks, the task killer will just sit there not doing anything (except being another task running )

It really isn't necessary. Astro file manager has a process manager and occasionally if a program hangs I might use that to kill something.

I'm also on a Droid with half as much RAM as you.
