do you know if ATK uses much cpu/memory and battery when running in background, when using the autokill-feature when going to standby because it than needs to refresh the running app-list always
Well it uses some. All monitoring apps do. Plus you dont need to kill tasks. When backed out fully, android manages them to 0% CPU usage. If saving power is your goal, I believe you'll waste more than you save going down this route
