Help adw launcher dock icons help

On an empty place on your desk:
menu -> add > personnalized shortcut (or something like this, my UI is in french)
Then:
Choose your activity:launcher action -> open/close application menu.
You can change your icon if you want.
Then, just drag your new shortcut to the place you want. That's it !
:D

And you can do the same in order to change your default menu launcher icon
Thank you very much bbkdhumm

I had the same problem and figured it out on my own :) Now my problem is though that the app button doesn't change when I change the theme. Anyone know the solution to this?

Has anyone figured out how to do this fix with the new 2.3.3 update? The menus seemed to have changed, and these instructions don't work anymore (I cannot find a way to manually open/close the application menu). Help!

working on a samsung captivate here thats been rooted using miui to 2.3.7
all my apps are just going into my homescreen and i have no app launcher button/icon (the one with the 4 squares).
