hehe i wanted to get it before i got my sgs2, i was told it was good, but i forgot about it until i saw that article..
 
I bought ADW earlier this year, I've tried other but always went back to ADW. Saying that, I have become a fan of TouchWiz since getting the S2X.
 
Got it and tried it, but now my Multipicture Live Wallpaper does not work properly. Not sure what to make of it.
 
Since the update the ADW notifications don't seem to work. I get the bubble shadow over the icon but no number or bubble colour.

Still using ADW EX cause I'm loving my home screen.
 
Ive been using SPB for a few month but think I am liking ADW ex better now. Has some good options like changing the size of icons and widgets etc.
 
Got my multipicture live wallpaper working again in Go Launcher, but still can't get it to work on ADW. ADW seems nice and it has some nice options. I think the app drawer is a little better than Go Launcher since you can place it in group. But would like it that the icons can be rearranged in the drawer. All around, Touchwiz has the best drawer.

I also can't the back my nice big agenda widget like in touchwiz. At least Go Launcher has its own agenda widget as replacement. Oh well... going back to Go launcher temporarily until I get bored and want to change. The themes on ADW does look much nicer.

Does anybody know how to rearrange icons in the apps drawer, I can do it in TW, but i like to group bloatware into a single folder so I don't have pages of stuff I don't use. I also like to group games together to save searching for them, and to have my most used apps on the first page of the drawer. Apologies if I'm just being dumb here, but I'll just go back to TW otherwise and be glad it was just 10p I spent on ADW
 
In Go Launcher, the app drawer will place all icons one after the other but you can arrange it anyway you want. You cannot skip and move to new page like TW. The only workaround is to use folders like IPhone.

For ADW, they did it differently. First you have to create group. To do this, you need to go to the app drawer, click on menu, select group and choose new. Name the group (say games). Then click on menu again and choose setup. Select the apps (say all your games) that you want to place in the group. The group is like its own app drawer. You can place apps in multiple groups that you want. Then just go to any groups that you wish. You can place short cuts to the groups in the home screen.

Now if Go Launcher can adopt the same drawer as TW.... or TW gives me what the Go Launcher can do for everything else.... Perfect.

Thanks for the reply. Not sure I can be bothered to sort through everything again though, when I have it all how I want in TW, and it annoys me not being able to scroll past the last page to the first in the app drawer and home pages.

I am having the same problem. I will be dumping it until it is fixed...

Go Launcher allows looping of the home screen and drawer. I got ADW to allow looping in the home screens but couldn't find any setting for the app drawer.
 
I bought the ADW EX Launcher app the other day. Is there a website you guys use to find tutorials on how to use it? Or do you just experiment with it?
 
Just switched to it recently from go launcher ex and as far as now im nicely suprised :) i ll stick with it for longer i guess...
 
As mentioned above, no notifications show up anymore. I also noticed NoLED stopped notifying me when an email comes in.

The 'official' site (actually it's more AnderWeb's personal blog) is here but it doesn't contain much in the way of a user guide. The ADW support thread at XDA has a lot of useful info, but nothing really beats just playing with each option to see which ones work best for you. The "reset ADW" option in the app menu comes in handy when you get carried away, btw. ;)
 
I am using this Launcher over GOlauncher, but I would really, really like app drawer folders. The groups thing is just the most backwards way of doing things, it's stupid.
 
TW still has the best drawer. Its also the most leanest launcher I've used. Just can't do much customization.

Any developer out there can figure out how to incorporate TW drawer into similar launchers as Go Launcher / ADW / LauncherPro?

Sticking with Go Launcher until I get bored, then maybe switch to ADW for its many nice themes.

Is there a way in ADW launcher EX to edit the titles of applications in a catalog? I want to rename them. It works in folders but can find no editing of a catalog entry other than adding/removing an entry.
 
Is there any way to sort my applications in the app drawer by last date installed, or something like that? I can't find it anywhere in the settings. Thank you in advance.

At this moment in time you can't but maybe email developer with suggestion
