Looking at T'res
"We need to make sure folks are getting some heals during combat or we won't last against a more formidable enemy. But you are right, once HTC started casting some of his spells he was faring much better. Seems like he was holding back on us as I wasn't sure he had that in him. If Zach would use some of the brawling skills I hear about with a set of knuckles he would be in pretty decent shape."

I take my 11 Creds, a set of knuckles and head to the boat.

Alright so the rotation will be like this one sailor and one non sailor
Zach can rest today since he is injured .cain and myself will take the first shift then you can take the the shift with me We will survive the night without zach .
He will take the shift morning after he feels better .

Looking back at Smith, "yeah, we need to start tag teaming these foes," taking in a deep breath of the salty sea air, "we could try to wound them, limit their mobility or accuracy."

As I settle into the boat ready to set sail I say one last thing to Smith, "you know, it's been a while since I've actually had to kill anyone," taking another long pause, "well, we should get the injured healed up. Rest, medicine and spells should be able to heal us up."
 
Looking to T'resezk, "that should work well. We could use these communication devices, if the sonar goes off, you could tell me in which direction to watch out for, and I could fend them off with my rifle until you get out here."

This thread is fast. :) Also, I'm kinda assuming that the cabin is not directly connected to the outside where I'd be stationed at. The character would know this, so I'm taking the liberty here and saying that T'resezk would need a few moments to get to where the enemies are from the helm of the ship.

In case of pirate attack ,the non sailor guy holds the invaders .the sailor guy can either use long range or just sound an alarm .
Others can join battle next turn depending on gm.

This is both for the battle and role playing. T'res has some good ideas. I suggest perhaps spending the time on the boat to work on fighting strategy remember use what you are good at ;). I tend to try not to kill off anyone specific or anyone who is new to a game got close there and I made a few decisions to help you guys out. You should get a good idea some of the laws of the sea based on the police reaction to your fight and should understand why pirates are a risk.

MP don't worry since you had posted what you were doing a few times out of turn we took the liberty to let you do that you missed and nearly died, had the sailor not ran from you to attack T'res Cain probably would have killed you :eek: on accident of course

I am going to update some of the rules to include spells we have discussed, distracted targets, death (if your HP drops to 0 you must get healed within 1 turn or you are done for) and anything else I can think of. Also for character sheets if you want I can open the document I have for characters for edits and give you the URL or make each of you an individual one (Which I would prefer since it has proved to be a PITA to pull up each character individually when I need it) and send you the URL that way when you edit I can see the changes as well?

AC13 yeah the ninjas have proved to be a PITA here but it makes it interesting. Good game so far IMO :D
 
I like it so far. Sorry I drop in an out like that sometimes I go to other threads or I help the newcomers out in the introductions.
 
That is PP earned, not total right? That doesn't include what we banked from last time..? :D Never gonna live down the first epic fail ;)

thanks. Okay, so I'm gonna spend some PP to upgrade my agility. 3*(6+1) is 21, so I'll be putting that there.

I'm updating my character page too... (and keeping track of all these in a txt file ;)) So I still have 10 PP in the bank from the first night of RP, and I added 11 GC to my inventory.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe we handed out all the supplies we found from those first three guys at the wharf.

I think it is worth pointing out that Cains gun didn't backfire he just missed badly anyone with any skill with a gun could tell that ;) in all honesty it was better he had the epic fail than T'res since the spell would have worked in reverse and not only would T'res had hurt himself but would have managed to heal the sailor
 
Listening to T'resezk's speech, I nod along. He's making good points. "If we team up, we should be able to injure our foes enough to limit the damage we take. I think it makes more sense to kill off each foe before moving to the next, so they don't get to attack. An obvious exception would be if you need to save someone from harm."

So we could argue that my epic fail saved the day ;) :D
 
[Hide]actually I was thinking of casting a healing spell on zach if hadn't rushed to attack me.we have a pretty balance group it seems .
Time to go to lvl 7 .

Btw I think after using 8 charges or more in necromancy,T'resezk gains a fear shroud . Any npc will avoid battle,diplomacy or negotiation with him after battle .
