After 7600 miles...

So I bought a myTouch and unlocked it to take to Egypt with me. After 7600 miles, when I finally get here, the screen says "No Service" no matter which SIM card is in there. Yet my friend's Tmobile G1 works here. Whats going on?!?!

What bands does it support? Does it support the frequencies used in Egypt?

Since my friend's G1 works here, I'm assuming the frequencies are supported.

What are the APN settings for Tmobile?
I changed mine to AT&T's APN settings so I could use it in the US. Maybe that's what's affecting it right now.
