Help after 902 update blue light no longer flashes.

Hi all,

The blue light use to flash when I had email arrive, after the update it no longer does this. Does anyone know if this can be fixed? I did the regular stuff like rebooting and checking the yahoo mail app settings. Any help is appreciated.

Did you check your settings? Also, is the screen on or off when you look for the notification light?

The screen would always be off when the light flashed and yes I checked the settings.

Mine is green and has always been green. I have never "tweaked" it.

I wonder if he is running (or previously was running) an add-in app that is manipulating the LED. There are a few in Android Market.

In ICS, for example, I'm getting something between purple and mauve as my notification light....

My Bionic i 100% stock. It has had two Motorla supplied updates and no leaks. I have not installed a LED controlling app. I only have Gmail.

The indicator flashes green for notifications, Gmail delivery, and every other use.

Same thing that I see. Green notification on missed calls and voice mail also. Never have seen blue.

The LED (green) will not flash if you turn off the roll shade notification. It is linked to things showing up in the status bar.
