Root After root; signal unstable. Anybody else?

When I first got my Dinc2 I played around with it for two weeks. During that time the web signal indicator never moved off 3G. It was like it was painted on; it never even fluctuated once. At least not in my home; where I use it the most. I then rooted the phone and installed cm7. After rebooting the phone into cm7 the signal was fine for about ten minutes; then the signal started going nuts. It would constantly fluctuate between 3G and 1x; even when I was sitting still. I then wiped cm7 and installed liquid smooth; same thing. And the problem isn't just with the indicator. There is a noticeable difference in the web speed and quality. Especially with the Android market; that runs as good as molasses uphill in January now. Anybody else experience this problem?

I am currently running liquid and have no signal issues. I haven't on any other rom that I can think of.
What radio are you running?
Have you tried *228 yet?
Where are you, maybe there is trouble with teh towers...

I'm having the same problem, only I didn't flash a ROM yet. I just rooted a week or so ago and haven't found the desire to change what I have....until now. I had perfect, 4 bar 3g service before rooting. Since I rooted I have 2 max but usually not even that. And often times the data locks up...pages won't load, texts wont send, apps wont update etc until I restart the phone. Help?

I ran into the same problem and ran back to stock/unroot. I was running andybonestock Rom with an oc kernel and my download speeds were horrible with a PERFECT signal and on WiFi. Did try *228 and no improvement. Now that I'm not rooted my speed has improved tremendously.

I didn't see any difference between the radios. When my signal goes to crap after I flash something a battery pull brings it back.
