i finally rooted my phone..i think i did it right.. Thank you to all who have helped me and whose post i've read
The only apps i deleted were facebook for htc,socialim and flicker
I like to use the visual voicemail from the metropcs app store. After i download the app and installed it. The app says its having trouble activating it. (its free) I tried downloading a few simaliar apps from the android market. When the app needs to call a number to activate the service it says error code ___ my service won't allow the call. What am i doing wrong? also, since i'm rooted is it pointless to carry phone insurance?
