Root after rooting ?

i installed rom manager and chose to back up currant rom , when it reboots all i get is a red triangle ........them bastard triangles are doing my head in

I did both when I did mine

Once you have done the s off and as you have clockwork recovery go to your hboot menu by rebooting and holding vol down then use the recovery option there to restore your backup.

Do you have USB debugging on and connecting the phone as charge only?

Also..... keep an eye on your phone.... you will get a Super User request pop up (took me 3 goes before I realised it might be popping up on the phone)

yes debugging is on and phone connected as charge only i been keeping eye on phone but get no super user request

Give it another go.... don't let the screen switch off, keep tepping it or swapping screens, it WILL come up (this goes for both s-off methods)

Are you sure you actually have root access?

It's the only other thing I can think of that may be affecting it :\

dont be m8 think i found out the prob, i didnt have htc sync drivers, anyway when they were installed i got super user request
