Root After the Revolution, help?

Today I rooted using revolutionary, everything went fine. Now I sit here with a rooted HTC and no idea what to do? I have been reading the FAQs, scrolling through google and countless threads here and have not figured out really how to do anything outside of tether. My main reason for rooting was to remove the bloatware, which is still protected. And to of course toss more useful apps on board. I have tried several methods using the command prompt and the abd program. But I keep hitting R/W, no permission etc errors. Can anyone give me a link to a guide on how to get rid of nascar, blockbuster etc, that alone will make root worth it. =)

as far as bloatware goes i would get titanium backup and purchase titanium backup pro key as well. it will allow you to freeze apps and also it will also backup your apps and data.

another way to get rid of bloatware is to just flash a custom rom. most roms have all the junk removed. try this one out: http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...-rc2-4-53-bloat-free-sexy-htc-evo-4g-rom.html. you can choose swag on which is more themed and optimized then swag off. please read the op and the next few posts.
