After turning off Wifi Tether, wifi stops working til reboot

So, I got my $40 AWE from last week's sale, got it rooted, and set up Wifi Tether 3.3 b2 without too much trouble. I began with the settings shown in this thread:

I have noticed though that after turning off the hot spot, I can't turn wifi back on until I reboot the phone. All of the wifi state widgets and settings I have tried are stuck on "off."

It seems like the Wifi Tether app isn't cleaning up after itself.

Has anyone found a setting that will eliminate the problem?

I got the same problem, thought i was the only one

I set up 2 AWEs, both do it. A friend's does it as well. Does anyone's AWE not have this problem?

Same thing happens to me. In the grand scheme of things, it is a minor annoyance.
