Agat error

Anybody seen this error in all versions of agat (at least for me). It says error: can't open last cache/recovery/log. And it says it 3 times in a row. What am I doing wrong when it comes to these kernels? It's happened on all agat kernels.

What exact kernel. what exact ROM, and what are you trying to do?
 
It has always happened on all tw roms. I flash the rom, the kernel, then reboot. Whenever I go back into recovery, it says the error. And everytime. I was on gc01 stock rooted and now I'm on jellyverse 3.0 with agat 4.0 kernel. I've read that jellyverse had problems with agat but this is different. Its happened on all tw roms and I'm pretty sure it happened on an aosp cwm recovery. I tried the .tar to see if maybe it was just a bad .zip file. I've tried everything. Weird. My recovery still works I just get that error everytime.
 
Regardless of what I do in recovery at the bottom of the screen it says error: Cant open last cache/recovery/log.

Okay still not telling me what you were using exactly. Were you trying to do something in recovery or just enter recovery? I am not having any issues out of the kernel at all and happily made a backup just fine (including /preload). The source kernel for GC01 version 0.4.0 is Garwynn and does not have Agat's recovery, and it has CWM. I would also use 4.1 or 3.1 if on something with initd scripts (compatibility issues). I know jellyverse was developed on the Sprint side and most run GB27 (though that shouldn't make a difference if flashing in the GC01 kernel). I also boot the phone with the kernel it comes with to normal mode before using mobile Odin to flash in the recovery kernel.
 
Nevermind. Fixed it this time. Wiped dalvik cache and cache and for some reason it worked even though I've tried that like 18 times before. Oh well fixed for now:)
 
Going to try to backup now. Then flash some tweaks and see how it goes. Really liking this kernel and the battery life of this rom. Although I really like aosp better I think I'll stick with this rom for awhile because for now, everything just works.
 
That is one of the reasons I stay on the TW ones for daily drivers. Battery life is better, not dealing with weirdness of things like low volume and other bugs.
