AGAT to CWM

Okay I'm trying to replace AGAT recovery with clockwork mod recovery. I install the zip for CWM and it replaces it and i am in it right away, and can woork with it. However, the moment I reboot it will be gone and back to AGAT the next time I reboot into recovery. How do I get rid of AGAT so I will always go into CWM?

Some ROMs have their own custom recovery (CWM/AGAT/Rogue) built in and will replace whatever you install. You have to reinstall CWM after installing a ROM sometimes to keep CWM.

Yeah I get that. I am on a stock rom just with the AGAT 054 kernel that was used when rooting my phone. I tried to install CWM after that, and it won't stay in there and revert back to the AGAT recovery. I did try going to a different kernel that had CWM. That did work, but the kernel didn't support undervolting. I ended up using Odin to put back AGAT 054.

Do u have to wipe everything before flashing cwm in agat?

i rooted no problems with agat for me as long as its rooted galaxy S2 im fine with it ... if it aint broke dont mess with it
