VM is getting the motorola triumph. i cant buy a new phone now! why?

You both have your points. But still, the resolution on the new one...I just got all atingle. But it's hard to imagine giving up my four month (great) phone for a new one.We give up. Why can't you buy a new phone now?
I can't buy one now either- because i can't afford too. I'm broke!.
Probably still won't be able to afford it when it gets released.
I'm happy with the V and it's capabilities --and a plan I can afford. Down the road, when my finances turn around, the phone won't be all that expensive when I take into consideration the low plan cost and no contract ties-- and the V will still be worth something to someone.
That being said, at the point I can addord the phone- and assuming it will be at least $250, we're getting pretty close to basic tablet price- and I might get a lot more use out of a tablet and the V, then just a phone with a slightly bigger screen and faster processor.

lol but I'm so used to GSM carriers and unlocked phones, I may eventually switch to Simple Mobile just for that reason, I've done a lot of rooting/installing roms etc but every time I do on my V I get a little nervous. When I had T Mobile I have a pile of spare phones I could use in case I killed my phone lol than again I guess if I got this phone when it came out I could use my V as a spare once I reset it to default.any Idea what the Triumph's OS is,Please tell me its Gingerbread, and not the security swiss cheesed Froyo
Except for the guess on the $250 price tag. If Vs are still selling strong for $200, a high-end phone like the Triumph might as well sell for $400 or more. There simply hasn't been such a high-end phone in the U.S. with a no-contract plan that was anything like VMUs'. Compared to the insane contract plans of the other guys, even $500 or more would be a steal over the long run.Great reasoning.
