Help Ahhhh!

I tried to go on a website and the "my computer" screen popped up saying I have all sorts of viruses. If I try to do anything to leave it says "Navigate away from this page? Your system is at risk of crash. Press CaNCEL to prevent it. Select OK to continue, or Cancel to stay on the current page." So what the heck is this? What am I suppossed to do?

Ok, well I just shut the phone off and back on again and it was fine. But could someone please explain what that might have been and if it's common?

Happened again today. So is it harming my phone? Is shutting the phone off the appropriate thing to do when it pops up? (seems like that's the only thing I can do when it happens) How can I prevent it from happening any more? Only had this phone for a little over a week! Driving me a little crazy!

I don't think you can prevent it from happening. This is what website is coded like. That or possibly it may have been hijacked. Just stop going to this website. No reputable sites would resort to this.

Agreed...probably harmless (but maybe not), but definitely evidence that you shouldn't be on that site.
