I was at the local fireworks display last night and while taking some pics my phone decided it had no space on the internal sd, so work I got home, using astro file manager I tried to move my backup of neat onto my external sd card..... It appeared to work fine, but today I went to take another pic to find the sd card full again....and my backup had disappeared.

I can't help but think it may not have moved properly.. Any ideas?

How did you move it? Handset or pc?
I've seen problems with cut+ paste operations in mtp mode thru Windows explorer. It does the cut but not the paste!
 
Essentially did a cut and paste, but using astro file explorer directly on the phone.... I'm not even bothered about where it's gone, it's the lack of space available that's the problem :-(

Btw any guides our mods reading this... I did try to pat in the all things root! Lol
 
Now it's been moved to all things root (thank you whoever moved it :-) )

Anyone any ideas where this backup is likely to have dissipated to? I've tried deleting lost.dir, but it's not made and difference really....does anyone even know if any good apps for properly viewing the internal sd so I can find out the size of folders etc and figure out if that folder is safe to delete! Lol
 
Do you use a mac or a PC? Can you connect to it and browse the folder structure of your phone memory? If so, there will be folder size programmes that can help, but need to know where to start first :)
 
Right....A Quick Update....

I've Never Had ThE Chance To Plug Into A Computer Yet But.....

I Have Had several Jumps In Available Space.

This Morning It Was Saying I HadAbout 4Gb Available, Its Now Saying Just Over 1Gb, But, IAm Dual Booting With Dorimanx 7.11... Cm10 Set To Primary, And Neat Xwlpy With Latest S3 Mod, For Done Reason Cm10 Allows Me To See Pics In My Gallery, But Neat Isn't!

Any Ideas? Everything Else Seems To Work Ok! I'm Starting To Think I Should Maybe Do A Full Wipe Of The Phone unroot, And Start Again!?
