AIM app / block GMail Chat Emails

Hello all. I apologize in advance if this topic has been mentioned before. I searched around and went as far back and didn't seem to really find anything that pertained to me.

This is not my personal problem but rather, of a friend's. She has a Droid Razr and uses the AIM app often. She has some guy who won't leave her alone and is spamming her, basically. She is unable to go to his profile on AIM and block him since he is using GChat to contact her.

My main question is this, if she blocks his email address going through MyVerizon, will that block his email address fully with messaging apps like AIM? She is currently at work now and unable to deal with it until her shift ends.

If the answer to my main question is a resounding no, what could be done?

hrm not real sure if verizon can block the email through the aim chat client, it is worth a shot to ask though!

otherwise, i feel that all she needs to do is use aim to block his email address and that should do it, i havent used aim in over 10 years so i really do not know.

i hope someone else can shed some light on this
