AiMP pays automatically

I have installed AiMP as an MP3 player ... it works well so fine.
However it keeps starting up, eg. if I'm using headset for video or audio conf.
As soon as I stop a call the AiMp starts up and plays one of my audio files ...... very annoying.
How do I stop this 'auto play'

Assume its related due to the phone being connected to headset by Bluetooth,

i don't think there is a setting for auto play within your phone. have you looked into settings within the app? or maybe try a different app.

I only moved to this as the built in player was discontinued back last year.
This was the 'rated' replacement.
I have been unable to find anything in App Settings

Maybe there is something like a PC I can turn off 'auto start'

Why does the built in player no longer work?

Just because it is 'discontinued' doesn't mean that it shouldn't work.

Anyway, here is a link to BlackPlayer- an old, ad-free version.
It is what I use on all my devices.

Be sure to go through the settings, as BlackPlayer can also start upon headpgone/bluetooth connection, and restart play after phone calls.

Google Play was discontinued so had to find alternative.
Looked at Blackplayer on PlayStore ...... loads of reviews about bugs, I may still try if I can't get AIMP fixed.

Forget Google Play.
I posted a perfectly good link.

In fact, you can probably find your original music player on UpToDown and go back to using that.

And remember that reviews are like... well, I think you know the saying.
Diapers, derriers, and such.

The link I provided is for the last free version of BlackPlayer without ads.
