air bubble under screen

jrew

Lurker
I just got a Thunderbolt last Thursday and I noticed while using it in bright light there is an air bubble above the screen. It's right above the Verizon logo and is difficult to see, but when its under light its very obvious. Should I be able to get an exchange or would it be considered cosmetic? AFAIK this is how it came, I don't know how an air bubble would spontaneously appear under the screen. (I don't have a screen protector on it yet, so it can't be that)

That is not an air bubble. It's the proximity sensor. Make a phone call and cover the "bubble" with your finger.
