AK notepad type app question

I'm using AK Notepad and have no problems with it except I cant send anything via Bluetooth.
I use it simply for keeping a price list on and a few notes, eg. "look out for X for someone"
Most of the time it isnt a problem but now and again people ask me for my pricelist. I dont want to pay to text it to them and email isn't a very good option when they are standing next to me. I simply want to be able to Bluetooth it to them.
Is there a similar app that allows Bluetooth sending or a way I'm missing to get AK to do it?

Oh, dont think it'll make a difference but I'm using a Hero in UK.

I posted this in the App bit a few days ago but hoping it gets more views here.

You're still running android 1.5, right? The bluetooth support in that version of android was poor; upgrade to 2.1 and it will work

I open the note I need > menu > share then the options are share by...

If I try it another way, by turning on Bluetooth first then looking for the file to send I cant find it.
I've emailed AK developers but not had a reply as yet.
