Help Alarm app doesn't always work

Does anyone have problems with the stock alarm app? I'm wondering if it's worth a trip to verizon. I can't get it to work properly reliably. Sometimes it only vibrates when I have a ringtone set, sometimes it doesn't work at all. I can of course download a replacement but I'm not thrilled with any of them either.

I've noticed this problem across a number of different HTC phones. I've not followed the reported threads to see if there was a fix or work-a-round. I do think it's a trend though.

I have purchase this phone last week and its Alarm app is working fine no problems get yet.
