I use my alarm clock daily but have noticed it keeps disappearing from status bar.Anyone else having this issue or know a possible cause?

This is a Kitkat bug. It does not affect the alarm itself. I think it just isn't properly refreshing the notification bar. Personally I use timely for my alarms.
Exactly what the other poster has said. Happened on my Moto X, my Nexus 5, and now on my GPE M8. Don't think it has any effect on the alarm. And it happens if I use the stock alarm clock or Timely.

I read something earlier that Pandora may cause the issue.I have Pandora installed.I may try removing it soon and see if the problem still exist.
I will save you the trouble. I never had Pandora installed and experience the issue. It's a bug within Kitkat itself

Well I uninstalled Pandora anyways and the alarm clock has not disappeared yet.I'll see what happens in the next few days. Alarm has been visible for about 12 hours so far.
It only disappears when you aren't looking!

Well no problems with the alarm icon being gone from the status bar or flickering of the icon.Since removing Pandora the issue seems gone.I've been on the phone almost all day and tonight.
I may install Pandora tomorrow to see if the issue reappears.

Did you end up reinstalling Pandora and if so, did the alarm clock issue come back? I was pretty sure that it's a KitKat bug, but I'd love to hear what you have to say about it.
