Help Alarm Clock Snooze Issue X2

The_Duke

Lurker
Got my X2 about a month ago (maybe more). I was using a downloaded alarm clock, but the I suspect the built in weather was causing reboots. So I'm using the delivered alarm clock. The problem I'm having is that the snooze function doesn't always work. Specifically, after hitting snooze, the alarm doesn't go off again after the set 10 mins. Sometimes it's after hitting snooze a few times. This morning, it was only after hitting it twice. I press the home button to "wake" the phone, and notice on the unlock screen the alarm was set to go off at 5:21am on Wed. Except that it was now 6:32 on Wed.

Anyone else run in to this? And is there a good free alarm clock that will work reliably?

I had what might be that exact problem. What caused it was that there were 2 different times on the device: the time the phone says, and the time the Weather & News widget says. (Or is it the Weather widget?) On my phone, the phone time zone was set incorrectly, but the home screen and alarm were displaying correctly because I guess they were using the Weather & News widget to get the time. Obviously, a weather widget will display the time where I currently am (just as it will display the weather locations for that location). So the alarm was displaying the correct time, but the phone thought it was a different time. I fixed it by fixing the time and turning on the option to get the time from the cell networks. I don't know whether that's your problem--let us know if you found the answer!
