Alarm clocks dont work??

Has anyone had this problem on their Evo? It seems to work if the phone is off the charger but when I charge it overnight and have it set to wake me up in the morning it doesnt go off. And I have downloaded a new alarm app and tested it off the charger and on it and it as well only works when the phone is off the charger. Anyone else have this problem?
 
I'm right there with you. I have to make sure I have a decent charge to get through the night then and only then does it goes off when i need it to. :-(
 
My countdown timer doesn't seem to work. I do have a task killer installed, though. Maybe I'll disable that and try again.
 
I have the same problem too it seems, although it did go off once yesterday which had to have been the first time since I got the phone. Very odd. Good thing I have my work BB wake me up as well.
 
The one that is part of the included 'desktop clock' app hasn't missed a beat for me.

My phone is my alarm clock too
 
Wow I feel like an idiot. I completley forgot that I had ATK running and it was killing it every time I turned the screen off and therefore no alarm! Thanks alot guys!
 
I too, found this out the hard way.


I've been reading that Task Killers may do more harm to your battery than help, unless you're just killing games or what-not. The OS pre-loads Apps for your convience
