Help Alarm on Gingerbread??

Make a clock widget and press on it, it should take you to the alarm screen or the desk clock screen and you should be able to set alarms.

Right but on 2.2 I had a little clock widget that didn't have the time in it, it just said "Clock".

2.3 is an actual clock with the time. 6 options. Not what I was looking for. Oh well.

I haven't ran the stock firmware for GB but you may want to check the market for an alarm clock app, it sounds like you had a shortcut to the alarmclock on your home screen in 2.2

Thats crap. I use my cell for all my alarm clock needs lol. Wake up, kids take meds, wife take meds ya know life lol. Hope they fix it. I shouldnt have to download an app to do something standard.

You shouldn't if you create a widget you can access it by pressing the widget. Also this leak has not been confirmed as the OTA and with issues I have seen people having with it I doubt it will be so the icon for alarm clocks may be implemented before the final release.

the app is called "clock" it will take you to a screen with a desk clock, world clock, alarm, stopwatch, and "hourglass" options along the bottom.

also, if you tap the numbers on the home screen clock (the big one that shows the weather) it will open up the "clock" app. been so long since i have run Froyo, i dont even remember how it is any more.
