Alarm One-time event

Back when I had Froyo on my G2, I was able to set a hassle-free one-time event alarm.

Now with my S2 on Gingerbread,
I have to check which days I want the alarm to repeat. I choose "One-time event," but it still repeats itself every day when I check all days. So it isn't really a one-time event. I don't want to have to edit an alarm whenever I need it for a different day, same time.

I want to be able to set an alarm without having to choose a day, and for it to not repeat the next day when I turn it off.

My last resort would be downloading an app, but if I could do this with the stock alarm, that would be perfect.

ah, deleted my post, I see your don't want to use the calendar then either, will check out mine and see if it works properly. one time should be one time.

I wouldnt want to set a reminder for a given day. I just want the alarm clock to work like a real alarm clock. Thanks

Not sure what kind of a problem you are having... My get up time constantly changes and I se t One time alarms all the time.... set time, touch day and good to go.....

On the older Android OS's, I would be able to just set time without having to set the day. That's what I want. I hate having to uncheck the previous day.
