Alarm problems are back (never fully went away)

Ok, since the 2.1 update Iv had alarm problems. First It would not go off on my Monday - Friday schedule. If you set it for like a minuet or 2 ahead it would go off. But anything longer than that....nothing, Called customer service and they had me do a hard reset. Alarm worked everyday except wed & fri, Called customer service again....another hard reset, Now back to the original problem, Its not going off for my scheduled monday - friday alarm. This is really starting to get frustrating! How can I fix this?

if you find a fix let us know. my wife and i have the same issue. pretty sad for something so simple to not work correctly.

I dont know the OP setup but I'm rooted and using DC 2.08.1 and I have these problems as well. One time I had to remove the battery... Also, I have three alarms setup at 7:00, 7:10 and 7:20. Only the first one works, when it works... One time it showed as it was ringing (showed the snooze controls) but it didnt make a sound...

when you set up your alarm, and pick the ringtone, while the ringtone is playing, turn up the volume. Chances are your alarm volume is down all the way.

Nope. I use Sound Manager every night to turn every volume up, not just the alarm one. And as I wrote, it sounds the first time but the other alarms sometimes do not sound...

A few questions...

Are you rooted?
Are you using a task killer?
Not rooted... Yes have a task killer, But the clock/alarm are not being killed by it.

I have a volume control, the alarm volume is always all the way up & also have it set to play the alarm when everything is on silent.

The reason Kelmar asked: The possibility exists that something you are killing with the task killer is causing your alarm issues. Try turning off the task killer and test you alarm.

I understand why he asked, But even if that were the case, I had the same task killer & settings with the 1.5 & never had any problims till i got the 2.1 & that wouldnt explain why it would work everyday except wed & fri (after the first hard reset)
