Help Alarm problems

Hello all!

I am having some problems with my alarm on my phone, and it started happening AFTER I installed Advanced Task Killer (which I deleted the same day) and AFTER I installed 2x battery.

My problem is that my alarm will go off, but now the snooze won't come back. It has made me late for work one day and almost late today. I made sure this morning I hit the snooze button, then laid in bed waiting for it to go off (which defeats the purpose, sadly) and it never did.

Before I installed these apps it worked fine. Is the 2X Battery app interfering? Is there a way to make it stop interfering?

It's making me start to miss my iPhone 4 >.<

Sorry... I don't know what a 2x battery is. Most (all) task killers use more resources than they save you. Until you figure it out, get up when the alarm goes off. "No snooze for you."

This is the 2x battery saver app.

It says it affects the data connection, so I don't know how it would affect the alarm, but I have no idea. I deleted the Advanced Task Killer because of some negative things I read, but people that deleted that downloaded this 2X Battery Saver and love it.

I don't want to have to change my sleeping patterns just because of my phone. I'm not a morning person :(

Sorry. In my opinion... all those kinds of things are a waste of processor and battery. They can't do anything you can't do yourself. Have you tried a soft reset since you uninstalled them?

you need to remove 2x battery saver as well, or disable its task killer

then delete all of your alarms,go to menu.settings.applications.manage find clocks and clear cache and data, and make them again.

task killers can be used correctly...learn to use them (ignoring specific apps etc)and they can benefit battery life marginally.

some of the other battery savers work by disabling radios as well. the phone was not made to operate this way with on off on off and YOU CAN accomplish this with out the task killer by simply turning packet data off when you are not using data.

I too had the no snooze problem and then it disappeared! I didn't have the task killer or 2x battery app, but do use juice defender. All of a sudden it works so I have recently cleared my cache and have been setting new alarms instead of editing old ones... Maybe that was the trick?

I agree with midiman and Mr ed. Can you uninstall any task killers and battery savers and see if it does the trick?

Also, you could try alarm clock plus from the market. I've been using it for a couple years now. I always use it in place of my stock alarm.
