alarm volume

if im have separate vols for notifications and ringer does the alarm fall under notifications?

Don't know. I used one of the standard alarm sounds. It was plenty loud, and I'm a sound sleeper. The number of sounds available for alarms is pretty small though.

It would be nice if you can set an mp3 for your alarm sound though.

U can use ur own mount the droid via usb and create a folder called alarms put want u want for alarms in there

There's actually an alarm volume though it's sort of hidden. Open the alarm, hit the time you want, and then hit Ringtone. When you're inside there, you can use the volume rocker to change the alarm volume.

I use the volume control app from the market, it is much easier
