hey dracable ^^; my laptop shutoff twice.
Btw your virtualbox things are fine before it shutoff I made a savestate before it did

like i said, this is my first build, so i couldnt tell u how close i am. i feel like im making progress and getting closer, but its all pretty much new to me.

good news i think... lol! it looks like i finally figured out what was trippin me up on building the kernel! all came down to a damned missing decimal point. doesnt it always? lol. anyway, building as we speak! be posting results by tomorrow for sure!

fantastic news, yall!! i have successfully compiled the zImage, flashed it, and all seems well!!!! we r well on our way to overclocking this bad boy!! im doing lots of research and i am going to start throwing together a custom kernel build with OC support!!! if all my hard work and research on this is gonna help u all out, please dont forget about that little "thanks" button! ;-) thanks y'all! keep ur eyes peeled for future development from myself! now, long, LONG night... time for a little shut-eye before i get back to work on this!

also, no promises, but by request, im starting work on (hopefully) porting over cwm touch. ill provide regular updates on that project in a new thread soon! hope we can eventually get cm7 ported over too! we r on our way, folks... on our way!

ya, i dont have experience setting up a repo, but if someone wants to give me a few tips, i totally dont mind setting up a public open source repo for my projects.

if you were trying access the computer yesterday I am terribly sorry,
I got real sick and forgot to leave the computer on so you can remote it ^^;
I am still a little sick but I will try leave the computer on

thanks again, sunsuke! i hate to tell u this, but i actually ended up getting the build done on my computer, proving that GB CAN be built on a 32 bit machine! anyway, im all finished up with needing to remote connect. thanks again so much tho! i learned a lot!!

well, i think i found a template for the msm7627 factory overclock to 800mhz, so i think that would prob b a good place to start! now i just gotta figure out exactly where i need to change the clock speeds in the source!! anyone have any info pointing me to exactly which files i should be modifying to allow OC/UV? i found a few places that might be what im looking for, but i dont wanna blindly start modding files and brick my phone! ;-)

decisions, decisions....wondering if i should wait to try out the OC/UV mod...and keep my pimped out hades 1.0...go for new ics...wait for new hades 2.0...omfg! i cant decide! oh, and a special thanks to everyone whom has put in oh so much effort into making this phone rock! i had the option to get a different phone but turned it down and simply told them...there is to much going on with this phone right now to give up...;)

Hopefully Ill integrate this into Hades 2.0 - w/help from Drac?

Im surprised that you are actually still using Hades (I am too)

VarenHjames: pm me & we can discuss what you'd like to see in Hades 2.0, I want direct input from ppl using it so I can better figure out what 2do with it. I know I wanna keep as much of the stuff I have on it as possible & MAYBE even integrate what you've done with yours, idk... we'll talk

yeah sunsuke, ive got the link to the source. pm me and ill get it to u later. fyi everyone, my work is on hold for the moment. caught a nasty flu. ill be back up and workin soon hopefully.

hey guys, just lettin u all know that im still working on an OC supported kernel. i found info to point me in the right direction, but when trying to build, im getting compiling errors at the end of the build that im trying to get figured out. theres no info that ive found on the specific area that im having trouble with, so im on my own to figure it out. being that im still getting the hang of compiling, its taking me a while. im sure that im close tho! prob just something small im overlooking. just lettin u all know the status on my project!!!

thanks man... ive been working hard at this, but i still cant find the info i need. ive tried inserting lines of code from other oc'd kernels with the same chipset, but still getting the same build errors. ill pm u again. thanx!

so, i think i might have found my issue. stupid mistake. i tried building the stock kernel again, since i had successfully done that before, but i got the same build errors. long story short, i think i had my bashrc pointing to the wrong toolchain path to build. :-P im building the stock kernel again to test, and so far looking like the issue was fixed by pointing to the right toolchain. sooooo.... if this is successful, im pretty sure i have the correct code to create the OC kernel, which means i MIGHT have this baby up and runnin by tonight, if all goes well! cross ur fingers for me, y'all!!
