All chargers the same???

Hello,

I am a recent owner of the droid incredible 2. My previous phone was the moto droid 1. I noticed that both these phones have the USB connection from the phone to the charger (which can also be the usb from phone to laptop). My question is...in theory...shouldn't you be able to use the charger from the moto droid 1 to charge the droid incredible 2? I usually have a spare charger at work and one at home....instead of buying another droid incredible 2 charger I should be able to use my droid 1 charger right? I also figured car chargers are the same
 
They are mostly the same. If you look at the charger for the droid 1, it puts out .85 amp I think? where as the Dinc2 charger puts out 1amp.

They both work, but I think the Dinc2 takes much longer to charge on the D1 charger.
I used to have the D1 also, and actually, I had a bunch of chargers I bought when I had my Env Touch *cough*crap*cough*

So, I have one in each of my bedside tables, plus cradle docks, plus one at work and one in my car.

I just don't like not having them. You can usually find them cheap on Ebay also.
 
My husband's work-issued phone is a BB8900 and the charger for it works just fine with my Dinc2. They can be picked up for <$2 on ebay... including shipping! I'm like canonlaw... I gotta have chargers everywhere... Upstairs, downstairs, work, each car... and I'm not about to pay VZW's prices for them!

My DInc1 charger puts out 1 amp. I actually prefer it to the one with the DInc2 - it's smaller.
