This tool did wonders, thanks trtr - also I posted your thread on my blog with thanks!

If I used this to unroot, and flash Revolution recovery, can this tool help me get S-On and stock firmware, etc. in addition to unroot? Or will it just help me unroot?

Nevermind -- I got impatient and did the 'Unroot' menu option anyway. I did see it return me to an S-On stock HBoot of 1.05.0000. Thanks, trter10!

Please help!
I am new here and I just ran the tool successfully until the end when the phone is supposed to reboot. And now I am just stuck at the htc white screen!
any help is greatly appriciated!

Pull the battery, power it up and run option 4 in extras menu, or it may pop up and ask you to install su.

So I've tried to root with this tool now twice and everything appears to go through but when im done rootchecker and titanium both say I don't have root. First time I thought maybi did something wrong and unrooted with the program successfully but on reroot, same issue. Is there a final step I need to complete after the program is finished? I installedbusybox too but it too says I'm not rooted.

I made it on a 64 bit PC so I'm not sure what's going on

But, you can always use the old-fashioned zipfile method haha
I am having the same compatability error. I even ran the compatability troubleshooter for all past windows versions and I have still received the same error. Any other solutions? Also, what exactly is the old-fashioned zipfile method?

Downloaded both from goo.im and from your dropbox mirror, but when I initially run the thunderbolttool.bat, it starts, goes to updating, and stays there. I see the thunderbolttool.bat file being created and deleted, and the title of the window shows Wget http://dl.dropbox.com/u/61129367/ThunderboltTool.bat

When I go to that link, I see that your public links have been disabled due to excessive traffic. HAve you got an alternative distribution link?

Thanks - that did it.

One more question; when you say "un-root," does that include returning to S-ON status? I'd like to retain the ability to return it to entirely factory spec.

(It's fine if this qould require a memory wipe - the conditions under which I'd want to that would include a memory wipe anyway).

good day all, i just received an insurance replacement tbolt, running 2.11.605.19 710RD, will all-in-one work on it? tired of sense/etc, looking for a nice fresh clean rom. thanks!
