Flashed this Mod this morning, it's very similar to J-Kay and allows a lot of customisation of toggles/status bar/lock screen etc

All works as described and is very very good

Features:

6 Lockscreens - Ripple, Circle, Jellybean, Blackberry 10, Acer, LG Optimus

How do you install it? I guess you flash from recovery, but does is have a menu where you chose what options to install like Aroma Mod did?

I flashed it on top of neat lite 4.1 and 23bluetoggles mod and now there is nothing visible on status bar. I guess i have to do no wipe rom flash and then try this mod again. Anyway settings menu for this mod is in main settings so u dont have to look much to find it. Many options to choose.
 
Hmm after reflashing rom and flashing this mod on top, my status bar remains black with nothing on it. Even after changing options in menu and restarting, no change...

How did you managed to get this mod working on neat lite 4.1 Syd?
 
:-( I Flashed And It Would Say Android Upgrading, Get To The Final Bit Then Start Boot Looping :-( Any Ideas?

Sorry chaps. The feedback on xda has been ok. Plenty others have it working.

Not sure why you're having issues. Try posting on xda as goldieking seems very helpful

"If you get a black status bar on boot just take a screenshot ot wait for a notification or plug in etc. Anything to prompt a notification. This is because the ticker has a black background so it doesnt overlap the clock."

If you don't like it, either you reflash your rom or restore your backup if you made one.

I tried this last night but I'm not a big fan of AdvanceS so I removed it.

On the new neatrom, though I did a non wipe and a full wipe, appears the lite version 4.2 does not give me the multiwindow feature :(

This is the Alliance ROM, "kitchen", that I tried when I flashed Alliance ROM v5.2 recently.

When I tried it the other week, I could not get a truly transparent Notification bar with all wallpapers using the settings, particularly the Live wallpapers, like the one I got with Hawker's mod, here.

What did you do to get this Twinn?
 
Iron i just flashed mod and thats it :) I don`t know will it work with live wallpaper, i just use normal ones. And it is 100% transparent :)

Thanks matey, I followed what you did, didn't get the same result. Would you mind stepping out briefly what you did? Also I don't the slide out multi window feature etc, does that work for?
 
I installed the Alliance mod, deodexed, over my NEAT ROM and wiped cache and dalvik.

It flashed OK and the framework installed and ROM Customizer and Alliance settings were added.

As per Twinn's post, I was able to obtain a completely transparent Status bar by un-checking Alpha in colour selection and got it to show by just dragging the Notification bar down and up again. Saved waiting for or creating a notification to make it show. See screenshot #1.

However, I did start to notice a lag. Also, certain settings such as battery were not showing in some cases, (anything other than the stock battery either did not show or the GPS location icon showed for the circle battery). See screenshot #1.

I tried installing some of the custom mod's but these did not install either after re-booting. Also I started to continually get the following message, "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped". See screenshot #2.

Even after a further re-installation with wipe and Fix Permissions the System UI would keep stopping, thus making the phone unusable. In the end I restored my nandroid backup, which I strongly recommend anyone installing this mod to make prior to flashing it.

I should have known that if it worked for Syd that it wouldn't for me! ;)

Back to being nice to Hawker. :(
 
for those of you who liked this framework but had issues, a number of OTA fixes have been added to the app eg to fix the disappearing status bar. so may be worth another try. there's also some new OTA theming packages which look very nice.
 
Im following this AllianceROM and I am going to go for the version 6 I think.

Im currently downloading their "base" version since I am on a stock ICS ROM, rooted using PhilZ method, and running Siyah kernel.

I can just flash this using Odin, right? Then, do I have to start it up, or can I then just flash the version 6 of AllianceROM?

Im really trying to understand this, but there is so much information everywhere that makes it difficult.

Can I still install any JB kernel I like with this? Like the jeboo, Siyah, ect?

Also, can I install any JB modem I want?

Asking these important questions BEFORE I convert will hopefully alleviate headaches afterwards.

Im currently backing up all my apps with Titanium Backup and messages with SMS backup and restore. :D

Bump for a great find.

Great mod, using this with NEAT/lsd and Siyah.

Still pretty annoyed with JK, I buy the app which was horribly made anyway IMHO (in terms of layout, spelling etc.) only for it never to be supported again, oh well.

This is better and free, hope the guy accepts donations, fantastic mod thanks again for posting this up.
